Twin Atlantic - What Is Light? Where Is Laughter?

These days if you’re a newly emerging Scottish outfit the comparison of Biffy Clyro, Glasvagas or Franz Ferdinand is flung upon you like a rash.  Because every band hailing from Scotland sounds like Biffy or Glasvagas and has no individuality, correct? In some cases yes, however, Twin Atlantic, for once don’t fit that criteria.

Belting verses, and even louder, pulsating choruses create an epic rock ballad.  With just the right amount of emo in there without sounding like Metro Station.  Simple and addictive melodies are what make this song so fantastic, along with the pin point accuracy of the track volume to create those epic and explosive choruses which bowl you over every time.
Twin Atlantic may not be the sound the future has in mind, but if they keep producing music like this, who knows?
